Earth Day: Come Compost with ESD Ecologists!

Earthday_seedJoin fellow ESD researchers (Romy Chakraborty, Gary Andersen, and Eric Dubinsky) in the Lab's first ever on-site composting and gardening event for Earth Day (April 22), in partnership with Sustainable Berkeley Lab and Facilities. Learn about composting and gardening techniques and discover how our scientists are using scientific methods to understand the composition of soils, optimize nutrient uptake by plants, and more!!!

Please Donate a Seedling: To our Earth Sciences community, we are looking for donations of plant seedlings (~36 total) or seeds (tomatoes and herbs) to use for gardening. Please bring your donation to Building 74 (room 313) before end of the day, April 21, and/or come to the Old Bevatron 51 site (access the upper field site, overlooking B64, through parking Lot I off of Smoot Road) on April 22 to donate and volunteer.
