ESD will be well represented at this week’s American Geophysical Union Fall meeting in San Francisco. Of special note is the involvement of one of the largest Lab-led projects, DOE’s AmeriFlux Network, for which ESD Climate Science co-head Margaret Torn is one of the lead PIs. Other ESD participants in AmeriFlux include Sebastien Biraud and Stephen Chan. They and others will be giving talks, sharing posters, and staffing ESD’s “Meet a Scientist” booth.
