ESD energy scientists seeking recognition and visibility for their work are invited to take part in a poster session as part of the Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative (BERC) Innovation Expo, Energy Week 2013 (“California at the Energy Crossroads”). The Expo will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2013, from  6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, with free admission.

BERC is offering $10,000 in poster prizes, as the attached announcement indicates.  If the possibility of $10,000 dollars in cash prizes is not enough, the Expo will additionally provide exposure to hundreds of industry professionals, venture capitalists, technology lawyers, academics, and fellow researchers from across the university and beyond.

How to apply: Submit an abstract with (a) your name, (b) project title, (c) 150-word abstract, (d) a list of project keywords, and (e) a 140-character “twitter abstract” by Friday, September 27th to: [email protected]. Space is limited, so submit your abstract soon! For more information, go to: http://berc.berkeley.edu/innovation-expo/
