Korneev Seismic Sensor Animation

Scichannellogoetc.Strip the City, a show on Science Channel (Discovery), will include a short segment devoted to the magneto-acoustic seismic sensor deployed in 2012 by ESD’s Valeri Korneev (aided by Paul Cook) at the San Andreas Fault Observatory at Depth (SAFOD) site.

The first airing of the show that includes animation on how the sensor works will be Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 9 p.m. For more information, including other times the show will be broadcast, go to:
